Overview
Today, the Indian Real Estate Sector is on the road to maturity. Overall, we are seeing a transformation in the Indian Real Estate market. New developments in this sector include the proposed introduction of Real Estate Mutual Funds and the emergence of AIMS, a new financing option for the developers. At the inflection point of a certain upsurge in India, partly fuelled by Private Equity players, there is a pressing need to understand the issues relating to the deployment of REFs, and how Developers and Entrepreneurs can take advantage of this type of fund to substantially scale up their project sizes and business volumes.
This conference attempts to examine the opportunities and threats embedded within this space, covering areas such as bureaucratic hurdles, litigious tax environment and repatriation norms. This conference aims to bring all relevant stakeholders, including specialists from the fields of legal, regulatory, development, advisory and REF management, under one roof. In addition to this it aims at promoting networking and helping to facilitate deals between REF's and Developers. |
